These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Rooted & Ready website, participation in our events, use of our community spaces, and interaction with our services.

Rooted & Ready is sponsored and hosted by Ibukun Agape Services Inc.

By using our website, joining a waitlist, purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, or participating in a Rooted & Ready community or event, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

1. About Rooted & Ready

Rooted & Ready creates in-person experiences for Christian singles, including dinner nights featuring:

• Dinner

• Music

• Games

• Guided one-on-one conversations

• Informal mingling

• Intentional connection

• Private matching and missed-connection communications

Our events are designed for Christian singles who want to meet others in person and are open to friendship, dating, or relationship connections.

Our events are not a guarantee that you will meet a romantic partner or receive a match.

2. Eligibility

Our primary events are intended for Christian singles between the ages of 25 and 45, unless a particular event states otherwise.

By registering, you confirm that:

• You meet the applicable age requirement

• You are eligible to attend the event you are registering for

• The information you provide is accurate

• You genuinely intend to participate in the event

• You agree to respect other attendees and the event guidelines

Rooted & Ready welcomes Christian singles across denominations.

Divorced and widowed singles may attend where they meet the applicable event requirements.

3. Christian Community

Rooted & Ready is explicitly Christian and seeks to create Christ-centred spaces for connection.

Our events are designed for people who identify as Christian and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord.

We welcome Christians from different denominations and backgrounds while expecting attendees to treat one another respectfully.

4. Event Tickets and Registration

Some Rooted & Ready events require paid registration.

Event pricing, ticket availability, event capacity, inclusions, location, dates, and other event-specific information will be communicated on the applicable event or ticket page.

For the Berlin event currently promoted on our website, the event is limited to 40 guests and includes dinner, music, games, guided conversations, and post-event matching.

The event website currently lists an early-bird price of €45 and a regular price of €55, with the applicable price determined at the time of purchase.

Event information may change, so always review the applicable ticket page before completing your purchase.

5. Refunds and Transfers

Refunds, cancellations, and ticket transfers are governed by the policy displayed on the applicable ticketing or Eventbrite listing at checkout.

If a specific event has additional cancellation or transfer terms, those terms will apply to that event.

Please review the applicable ticket conditions before purchasing.

6. Event Changes or Cancellation

Rooted & Ready may need to change an event because of circumstances including venue availability, safety concerns, operational requirements, insufficient attendance, weather, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, we will communicate significant changes to registered attendees.

If an event is cancelled, any refund or alternative arrangement will be handled according to the applicable event and ticketing terms.

7. Venue Information

For some events, the exact venue may be provided to registered ticket holders by email before the event.

You are responsible for checking your email and any event communications for updated venue, arrival, timing, and preparation information.

8. Code of Conduct

Everyone attending Rooted & Ready is expected to help maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment.

You agree to:

• Respect every guest

• Accept a “no” gracefully

• Avoid harassment, intimidation, coercion, or sexual pressure

• Avoid explicit or inappropriate behaviour

• Respect the alcohol-free nature of our events

• Follow reasonable instructions from hosts and event staff

• Respect the event’s no-number-exchange guideline during the structured portion

• Respect other guests’ privacy

• Follow the stated photography and recording rules

• Keep match and missed-connection information confidential

• Treat other attendees with dignity

Rooted & Ready may ask a guest to leave an event if their behaviour threatens the safety, comfort, or wellbeing of others.

In appropriate circumstances, we may refuse future participation.

9. No Harassment or Unwanted Contact

Rooted & Ready exists to encourage healthy, respectful connection.

You must not use information obtained through an event, matching process, community, or website to:

• Harass another person

• Repeatedly contact someone who has indicated they are not interested

• Threaten or intimidate another person

• Stalk or monitor another attendee

• Share another person’s private information without permission

• Engage in sexual harassment or coercion

• Impersonate another person

A mutual match is not consent to unlimited communication.

You are responsible for respecting the boundaries of other people.

10. Matching

Rooted & Ready facilitates opportunities for people to meet and may provide a private matching process.

A match occurs when two attendees express mutual interest.

Where a mutual match occurs, Rooted & Ready may contact both individuals and share contact information as described in the applicable event terms.

A one-sided selection may result in a missed-connection communication. The other person’s identity or contact details will not be disclosed unless they choose to opt in.

Rooted & Ready does not guarantee:

• A match

• A mutual match

• A date

• A relationship

• Marriage

• Compatibility

• The accuracy of information provided by another attendee

You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions with other attendees.

11. Personal Safety

Although Rooted & Ready works to create a respectful environment, you remain responsible for your personal safety and decisions when interacting with other people.

Do not share sensitive personal information with someone simply because you met them through Rooted & Ready.

If you choose to continue a relationship or communication with another attendee outside the event, you do so at your own discretion.

If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable during an event, immediately inform a Rooted & Ready host or member of the event team.

12. Photography and Recording

Rooted & Ready may photograph or record portions of events.

The applicable media consent information will be communicated before purchase and/or at check-in.

By attending an event, you agree to follow the event’s photography and recording rules.

You must not photograph, record, publish, or distribute images or recordings of other guests in a way that violates the event’s stated media rules or their reasonable expectation of privacy.

13. Website Use

You agree to use the Rooted & Ready website lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website

• Introduce malicious software

• Interfere with website functionality

• Scrape or collect personal information without permission

• Impersonate another person

• Submit false or misleading information

• Use the website to harass or harm others

• Use the website for unlawful purposes

14. Community Content

If you submit content, comments, testimonials, photographs, reviews, or other material to Rooted & Ready, you confirm that you have the right to provide that material.

You must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate for our Christian community.

We may remove content that violates our community standards or these Terms.

15. Third-Party Services

Rooted & Ready may use third-party platforms and services for functions such as ticketing, payments, forms, email, communications, analytics, social media, and community management.

Your use of those services may also be subject to the third party’s own terms and policies.

Rooted & Ready is not responsible for the independent policies or practices of third-party platforms.

16. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content published by Rooted & Ready, including text, branding, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, and other materials, belongs to Rooted & Ready, Ibukun Agape Services Inc., or the relevant content owner.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit our content without appropriate permission.

17. No Guarantee of Results

Rooted & Ready provides opportunities for people to meet and connect.

We do not guarantee that participation will result in:

• A romantic relationship

• A date

• A friendship

• A mutual match

• Marriage

• Any particular personal or social outcome

The purpose of our events is to create the room and opportunity for meaningful connection. What happens beyond that is personal and cannot be guaranteed.

18. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Rooted & Ready provides its website and services without guarantees that the website will always be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

Event information may occasionally change.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information, but you should always check the latest event communication or ticket listing before attending.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rooted & Ready and Ibukun Agape Services Inc. will not be responsible for losses or damages arising from your use of the website or participation in an event where such liability cannot reasonably be attributed to us or where limitation is permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

20. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, violation of these Terms, or misuse of the Rooted & Ready website, events, or services.

21. Privacy

Your use of Rooted & Ready is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of our website or participation in Rooted & Ready services after changes are published means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

23. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to the legal entity operating the relevant Rooted & Ready service, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other laws that apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict rights that cannot legally be waived.
